Up to 8 HV I\/O Extenders can be connected to the HomeVision&#8217;s expansion bus, each with it&#8217;s own I2C address that is configurable by setting 3 removable links on the circuit board.<\/p>\n<p>Used as an input module, it is electrically similar to Port C of the HomeVision and when used as an output module, it is electrically similar to Port A of the HomeVision.<\/p>\n<p>To gain access to the I2C commands in HomeVision, the user must enable the commands as listed in the HV IO Expander documentation below.
