{"id":35686,"date":"2017-03-27T08:17:02","date_gmt":"2017-03-27T07:17:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/automatedhome.com\/?p=35686"},"modified":"2017-03-27T09:56:08","modified_gmt":"2017-03-27T08:56:08","slug":"video-3d-printed-house-in-24-hours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/automatedhome.com\/hardware\/video-3d-printed-house-in-24-hours.html","title":{"rendered":"Video: 3D Printed House in 24 Hours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>3D printing is fascinating and I&#8217;ve been lucky enough to have some plastic parts\u00a0printed by a CEO friends half-million pound\u00a0machine.<\/p>\n<p>I follow Formula 1 closely where\u00a0the 3D printing of metal components\u00a0has become common-place, using these fast prototyping machines to create actual working parts.<\/p>\n<p>Now 3D printing has gone even further. <a href=\"http:\/\/apis-cor.com\" target=\"_blank\">Apis Cor<\/a> has created a machine that can reach out across a building site and print walls. In fact they can print an entire house.<\/p>\n<p>So will there be a time when these technologies merge and we&#8217;re are able to print the metal wiring in the walls and the polymer furniture in the rooms as the house emerges from the ground slice by slice?
