{"id":63453,"date":"2024-10-07T14:37:36","date_gmt":"2024-10-07T13:37:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/automatedhome.com\/?p=63453"},"modified":"2024-10-07T14:37:41","modified_gmt":"2024-10-07T13:37:41","slug":"smart-home-wifi-chaos-recovery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/automatedhome.com\/news\/smart-home-wifi-chaos-recovery.html","title":{"rendered":"Smart Home Wifi Chaos Recovery"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I managed to get <em>almost<\/em> everything back online and functioning again after the <strong>chaos<\/strong> that ensued after my last update. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, for several devices, they&#8217;re actually <strong>working better than before<\/strong> because I was forced to dive in and take a closer look at them. For instance, I didn&#8217;t even know that Sonos had their own built-in voice assistant that can be run alongside something like Alexa, so I&#8217;ve enabled that now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also managed to get the Annker Crater Pro camera up and running to monitor the baby while he&#8217;s sleeping and was able to get my wife access to it on her phone too. That&#8217;s a game-changer for us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it&#8217;s not all good news, I&#8217;m now struggling with three new Aqara smart light bulbs that I&#8217;ve installed outside our front door in the lift\/elevator lobby area. Otherwise, I don&#8217;t know, I&#8217;ll need to come up with another idea for that motion sensor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I only recently learned that we can actually buy from Amazon Singapore here in Malaysia and although it&#8217;s not the same range as Amazon US, it&#8217;s still pretty exciting. I expect to be buying more from there soon, but for now, my first purchase was a Govee RGBIC TV Backlight kit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Excited to get that running with our Samsung 8k TV to really EXPLODE the visuals and make for a more immersive experience.
